The Department of Public Health and Medicine is the largest department in the School of Science and Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Dr.PSJKumar. The Department has modern facilities for teaching, learning and research. The medical practitioners of Dr.PSJKumar University are committed to applying the latest medical knowledge and technology to meet the needs of the patients. The department oversees many sub-specialty divisions and numerous programs and centers that help fulfill the mission of excellence in education, research, and clinical care. The department is internationally recognized for its high educational standards, with special focus on the medical humanities, pioneering research, and superior clinical care.
The department consists of internal medicine physicians specially trained in primary care as well as multiple sub-specialties. Our physicians are leaders in clinical care, education and research who dedicate themselves to offering advanced medicine and personal service. The guidance and cooperation of the experienced and expert faculty members of the department is one of the attracting features of the department, which enlivens the students to stretch their wings, so that they can fly higher than their dreams and serve the society.
