The Department of Artificial Intelligence, University of Dr.PSJKumar is focused on the development of systems that exhibit behavior typically associated with human cognition, such as perceiving, learning, communicating, reasoning, making decisions, and acting in a physical and social environment. AI research at Dr.PSJKumar University focuses on machine learning, natural language and speech processing, computer vision, robotics, and security. The Department offers a wide array of research opportunities and programs of study at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Besides these, the Department offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Speech Processing. Computer and Machine Vision aimed at producing quality researchers and high-impact interdisciplinary research. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the Department aims at providing quality research, and impart industry oriented curriculum and syllabi.

Our team researches data science, machine learning and general artificial intelligence problems involving unstructured data: in other words, images, texts, sounds, networks or signals. The guidance and cooperation of the experienced and expert faculty members of the department is one of the attracting features of the department, which enlivens the students to stretch their wings higher in serving the society. The Department has state of the art infrastructure in terms of modern conference room, smart class rooms and well equipped separate AI labs for research scholars, undergraduate and post graduate students.
